Hockey equipment sale announced for this coming Friday & Saturday 8/14-15

Clarence, NY – August 11th, 2020

 

This weekend, we’re inviting you to come to 9393 Main St in Clarence to browse our large selection of gently-used youth hockey equipment. All items are available in return for a small donation which means there’s some great bargains to be had!

 

Given the high demand for equipment, we have decided to offer two sessions. You can stop by on Friday 8/14 from 5pm-7pm or Saturday 8/15 from 10am-12pm….or BOTH!

 

Please be aware that we are not a retailer or vendor so we don’t guarantee all sizes, condition can vary, and there is no doubt that the best stuff will go quickly!

 

We accept cash, check or Venmo on site on the day.

 

It’s been an incredibly difficult spring and summer for all involved in youth sports. Whilst many low and medium-risk sports were allowed to resume on July 6th, ice-hockey is considered high-risk so was slower to return. However, many rinks have welcomed kids back to the ice and are gearing up for camps, leagues and practice sessions in the coming weeks and months.

 

We’ve heard parents say their kids have grown out of items they have barely used because of the delayed season. The pandemic has also hit families economically and we all know the costs of hockey equipment can mount up. Come and browse our selection of items and get fully kitted out for a fraction of the price – with all funds going to a great cause!

 

This is the only hockey equipment sale we will be doing so please try and come along!

 

Sadly, the event is weather dependent as it is outdoors so please follow our social media pages for the most up to date information. We will try and announce as early as possible if we have to postpone.

 

At Victory Sports, our mission is to provide access to sport for those children & young people that are priced out of the opportunity to play. We do this by providing equipment to underfunded organizations, teams, leagues, community groups and to families directly. We receive donations of items from individuals and corporations and wherever we can, we’ll distribute that equipment back into the community. However, we don’t always have the items that are requested so we will periodically hold events where we offer surplus items in return for a donation to Victory Sports. We then use those funds to fulfil specific equipment requests.

• Padding & Goalie Gear
• Roller Blades

We ask for a small donation in return for any items you choose. All money goes towards the work we do here at Victory Sports to help provide access to sport for kids from low-income and underprivileged communities. We always accept donations of gently used sporting equipment so if you have anything at home that is no longer being used that you are willing to donate, we would absolutely love to take it so bring it to the warehouse as you come and browse some new items! We do ask that you clean it before bringing it along please! Thank you!
