Cheektowaga, NY – August 19th
We are incredibly grateful to Lake Shore Savings Bank for awarding us $1,500 to adopt our Ball-Bin in Cheektowaga Town Park. We joined Depew & Snyder Branch Manager, Christina Schwindler, this morning at the park to receive the check and take some photos.
Lake Shore Savings Bank, a community-focused bank serving residents of Chautauqua and Erie County for over 127 years, bi-annually awards non-profits from their Community Reinvestment Grants initiative. Victory Sports were delighted to be approved for funding to cover the costs of one of our many equipment distribution bins.
Throughout the summer and fall, our network of Ball-Bins will distribute over 5000 items of sports equipment to kids playing in parks and community centers across the region. With our Cheektowaga Town Park bin located just a few miles from the Lake Shore Savings Bank Depew branch, we were honored to meet Christina and show her the bin and explain the initiative in more detail.
We’d also like to thank Nicole May in the Dunkirk office for her help in the grant application and subsequent arrangements for the check presentation and meeting with Christina.
