New Warehouse and Vehicle to Support Growth of Victory Sports
Friday July 3 – Buffalo, NY
In a very challenging year for the economy and non-profits, Victory Sports is beyond delighted to share details of two pieces of infrastructure we’ve been been able to acquire. With our ambitious growth plans, the donation of a downtown Buffalo warehouse & office space as well as getting our fully branded van on the road means we are well equipped to succeed.
Victory Sports is based in Clarence, NY, around 15 miles outside Buffalo. Our main warehouse there is a great spot for collecting donations, holding fundraisers, and meeting with our board. The reality is, however, that many of the under-served schools, teams and leagues we support are based in the City of Buffalo and the community events we hold or participate in are predominantly based in Buffalo. For this reason, the generous donation of a downtown warehouse that doubles as an office and meeting space – 1575 Main St, Buffalo, 14209 – is incredibly helpful logistically. Our new Development & Marketing Director, Edmond, will be based in the new Buffalo office and use it to meet our partners in the community and corporate sector. We’ve got many shelves to fill with equipment so do let us know of equipment you could donate! Right now there is not an all-hours donation box like we have in Clarence but drop-offs can be coordinated with Edmond.

Our second new piece of infrastructure is our shiny new fully-branded vehicle! With invaluable support from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr, Foundation,we were able to purchase a large van to transport our equipment to kids otherwise cut-off from accessing sports opportunities. Getting a full-body Victory Sports branded wrap means it serves as a huge moving billboard for us as we travel. The Ralph C. Wilson Jr, Foundation targets all 8 counties of Western New York and whilst population centers in Greater Buffalo and Niagara Falls mean we have spent much of our time there, our new vehicle will transport us to Genesee, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Wyoming, Allegany and Orleans counties to make sure no kid in WNY is inactive because they don’t have equipment! We’ll be distributing close to 2000 Play Packs and will use the van every week to restock the 20 Ball-Bins we’ve placed across WNY.
Check out the cool branding of the van below and keep your eyes peeled for it on the road near you soon!
